AI Announcements let you create a WhatsApp announcement by describing what you want in plain language. Instead of navigating the template library, choosing a type, and filling in each variable manually, you type a prompt and AI does the rest.

How it works

The AI reads your prompt, determines the intent (save the date, logistics, RSVP reminder, etc.), selects the most suitable template from the Weddingkart library, and fills in the template variables. You see a preview before anything is sent, and you can edit anything before confirming.

Tap AI Announcement

Go to the Announcements section in the app and tap AI Announcement.

Write your prompt

Type a message describing what you want to send. Include the key details — who the wedding is for, the date, the venue, the ceremony, or whatever is relevant to this message.Example prompts:
Send a save the date to all guests. Wedding is on 15th March in Mumbai.
Send the Sangeet ceremony details to Brideside guests.
It's on 13th March at 7pm at The Grand Ballroom.
Send a travel ticket reminder to guests who haven't submitted their tickets yet.

Attach a file (optional)

Upload a PDF, image, or video to include with the announcement. If you attach your wedding invitation card (PDF), the AI will read it to extract details like the couple’s names, date, and venue — and use those to fill template variables automatically.Supported file types: JPG, PNG, GIF, PDF, DOC, DOCX, MP4, MOV, AVI

Review the generated preview

The AI selects a template and fills in the variables based on your prompt. You’ll see a preview showing exactly how the message will look to guests.From the preview you can:
  • Accept it as-is and proceed
  • Edit any variable manually
  • Switch to a different template (the AI adapts your content to the new format)
  • Remove or replace the attachment

Select recipients and send

Choose individual guests or guest groups. Tap Send to deliver immediately, or schedule for a future time.

Why use AI Announcements

  • Faster. Creating a standard announcement manually takes 5–10 minutes. With AI, the same result takes 1–2 minutes.
  • No template knowledge required. You don’t need to know which template to pick — the AI selects the right one.
  • Reads attachments. If you upload a PDF invitation card, the AI extracts names, dates, and venue details automatically rather than requiring you to type them.
  • Flexible. You can override anything AI generates — the preview is fully editable.

Writing better prompts

The more specific your prompt, the better the output. Include:
  • The couple’s names
  • Exact dates and times
  • Venue names and locations
  • The ceremony or event this message is about
  • Any specific instructions for guests (e.g., dress code, RSVP deadline)
Avoid:
  • Vague descriptions like “tell guests about the wedding”
  • Missing key details that guests need
If you’re not happy with the AI’s template choice, tap Change Template on the preview screen. The AI will reformat your content for the selected template.

When to use AI vs. manual creation

AI Announcements work best for standard message types — save the dates, RSVP requests, event reminders, logistics updates. For highly specific or multi-part messages where you know exactly which template to use, manual creation gives you more direct control.
AI-filled variables can occasionally be inaccurate, especially for names, dates, or custom details. Always review the preview before sending.
