This guide walks you through the core Weddingkart workflow from sign-up to sending your first announcement. By the end, you’ll have a wedding set up, a few test guests added, and a real message delivered.

Create your account

Go to app.weddingkart.co and sign up with your phone number.You’ll receive a one-time password (OTP) on WhatsApp or SMS. Enter the OTP to verify your number and complete sign-up.No credit card is required to create an account.

Create a wedding

After logging in, click Create Wedding.Fill in the wedding details:
  • **Role - **Event Mananager / Bride / Groom / Relative / Friend / Weddingkart Team
  • Groom name and Bride name
  • Wedding date
Click Save to create the wedding. You’ll land on the wedding dashboard.

Add a few test guests

Navigate to the Guests section and create 2–3 guests manually.For each guest, enter their name and phone number. Use your own number or a colleague’s for this test so you can see exactly what the guest receives.

Send your first announcement

Go to Announcements and create a new announcement.
  • Set the type to Wedding Invite
  • Write your message
  • Attach a PDF/Imagr or Video if you have one (such as a wedding invitation card)
  • Set the recipients to the test group
  • Click Send
The guests in your test group will receive a WhatsApp message within seconds. Check your phone — that’s the exact experience your real guests will have.
You’ve completed the full Weddingkart loop: create a wedding, add guests, and send a message. Now build it out for your real event:
The free plan lets you explore every feature in Weddingkart. The only limitation is that you cannot send messages to more than 3 guests at a time. Upgrading to a paid plan removes this limit so you can broadcast to your full guest list.
