Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the Basic plan for?

Basic is for weddings that are 2–3 weeks away where all you need to do is send WhatsApp messages to guests - invites, venue directions, reminders - without collecting any information back. It does not include RSVP collection, travel ticket collection, ID card collection, guest photo collection, or voice features. If your family is fine taking RSVPs informally over personal WhatsApp, Basic is enough.

Who is the Standard plan for?

Standard is for most weddings. It includes everything: WhatsApp RSVPs, travel ticket collection, ID card collection, guest photo collection, guest attributes, and Google Sheet sync. It also unlocks voice AI agent calls and voice call broadcasts on a usage-based credit model. If your wedding is more than a week away and you want to manage the full guest lifecycle, this is the plan.

Is this a subscription?

No. It is a one-time payment per wedding. You pay once and use every feature of the plan for the full event - from the first invite to the last thank-you message.

What happens if I change my mind?

100% refund till 2 days before the wedding starts. No questions asked. After the wedding begins, refunds are handled case-by-case.

What if I run out of messages mid-wedding?

You can purchase additional message packs at any time from the app. No need to upgrade your plan - just top up and keep sending.

Can I try the platform before paying?

Yes. You get 30 free credits to try the app with every feature unlocked and no restrictions - add guests, send messages, collect RSVPs, and explore the full platform. Pick a paid plan once you run out of credits.

What's included in the Enterprise plan?

Enterprise is for agencies managing 10+ weddings. It includes everything in Standard, plus volume discounts, priority access to new features, voice-feature support, and custom integrations. Contact us for a tailored quote.

Is there a per-guest charge?

No. Pricing is per wedding, not per guest. Whether you have 100 or 2,000 guests, the plan price stays the same - only the message count matters.

Can I upgrade from Basic to Standard during a wedding?

Yes. You can upgrade at any point and the additional features (RSVP, travel tickets, ID cards, guest photo collection, and voice features) become available immediately for that wedding.

Are Voice AI agents and voice call broadcasts included in the plan price?

Access to both voice features is available on Standard and Enterprise, but the calling itself is usage-based. You top up credits and pay per connected minute or completed call; failed calls auto-refund. Think of the plan as unlocking the workflow, while call usage is billed separately.

Most couples are set up in under 10 minutes.

Start today and be ready before your first guest RSVPs.

Full pricing breakdown

A wedding tool should cost less than the bouquets. A typical Indian wedding runs ₹40 lakh and up. The flowers alone are usually north of ₹50,000. Most wedding software priced under ₹10,000 still gets read with suspicion - “is this serious?” - because the SaaS playbook trained everyone to look for a monthly subscription and a per-seat row in the invoice. That is not how Weddingkart prices. We price per wedding because a wedding is an event, not a workflow that needs renewing on the 1st of every month. What follows is the full breakdown - three tiers, the GST, the message counts, who each tier is for, and what we ask people to skip us for. The JSON feed lives at /api/pricing.

What does Weddingkart cost in 2026?

Three plans, all per wedding, all paid once.

  • Basic - ₹4,999 + 18% GST. 1,000 WhatsApp messages. Chat with guests. Multi-team-member access. Built for the last-minute wedding.
  • Standard - ₹8,499 + 18% GST. 4,500 WhatsApp messages. WhatsApp RSVPs, travel ticket collection, ID card collection, guest photo collection, guest attributes, Google Sheet sync, voice AI agent + voice broadcast access. The plan most weddings should pick.
  • Enterprise - custom quote. Built for wedding planning agencies running 10+ weddings a year. Volume discounts, priority access to new features, voice support, custom integrations.

Pre-GST, those numbers are what gets quoted in any comparison conversation. Add 18% GST and Basic is ₹5,899, Standard is ₹10,029 (₹5,898.82 and ₹10,028.82 exact). Indian SaaS quotes pre-GST by convention; we follow it because otherwise the comparison to WedMeGood, MeraEvents, or any BSP setup gets noisy fast.

Why three tiers, and not one?

Most wedding-software pricing pages have one plan and a contact-us button. We tried that for the first six months. It looked clean. It also confused everyone. A bride three days before her court wedding does not need RSVP tracking - she needs to send 200 WhatsApp invites and stop. A planner running an Udaipur destination wedding for 600 guests needs travel ticket collection, ID card scans for venue security, and a voice AI agent for the grandparent demographic that won't reply on WhatsApp. Charging both of them ₹8,500 for the same plan is bad pricing - the bride is overpaying for features she will not use, and the planner is undercharged for a complexity that takes real support hours.

So three tiers, with deliberate gaps:

Basic: the “just send the messages” plan

Basic exists for the wedding that is 2–3 weeks away and where the only outstanding work is outbound communication. The venue is booked, the guest list is locked, RSVPs are happening informally on family WhatsApp groups, and you don't need any structured information back - no RSVP buttons, no travel tickets, no ID cards, no photo collection. You just need to push: the invite, venue directions, dress-code reminders, the “please be on time” nudge the night before. That is 1,000 messages, easily, for a 250-guest event with three messages per guest.

Who Basic is right for: court weddings, registry weddings, intimate celebrations of 80–250 guests, and any wedding where the family is fine receiving RSVPs over personal WhatsApp rather than tracked button replies. Send-only is the use case.

Who Basic is wrong for: anyone who wants to track RSVPs as structured data, anyone with a destination component (because that means travel tickets), anyone hosting older relatives whose phones don't do WhatsApp well (because that means a voice AI helpline), and anyone collecting guest photos or ID cards after the event. Trying to retrofit those onto Basic by topping up messages does not work - RSVPs and ID collection live in Standard's feature set, not its message bucket.

Standard: the default plan

Standard is what we recommend to roughly 80% of weddings that talk to us. It costs an extra ₹3,500 over Basic and unlocks three things - call them message volume, lifecycle features, and voice access.

Message volume. 4,500 WhatsApp messages handles a 300-guest wedding with multiple ceremonies and reminders comfortably. The math: invite (1) + RSVP follow-up for the 30% who don't reply (1) + venue directions before each of three ceremonies (3) + day-of reminders (2) + post-wedding thanks (1) = about 8 messages per guest, times 300 guests, is 2,400 messages. Add personalised reminders to subsets and you land comfortably inside 4,500. A 1,000-guest wedding with five ceremonies will exceed this - top up message packs from inside the app, no plan change needed.

Lifecycle features. WhatsApp-based RSVP buttons (which get materially higher response rates than Google Forms - see our buttons-vs-forms breakdown), travel ticket collection so you know who is landing where, ID card collection for venue security and visa support on diaspora weddings, guest photo collection for the after-event album, guest attributes for slicing the list (vegetarians, plus-ones, stayers, day-onlys), and Google Sheet sync for the planner who refuses to stop using Excel. None of these are exotic features - they are the operational spine of running an Indian wedding well.

Voice AI access. Standard unlocks both the inbound voice AI agent workflow (handles guest calls about venue, food, dress code, in Hindi or English) and the outbound voice broadcast workflow (calls 200 guests in 30 minutes to confirm RSVPs). The calling itself is usage-based - typically a few rupees per connected minute or completed call - and topped up separately. Plan price covers the workflow, not the air time. We split it that way because the alternative - bundling minutes into the plan - either undercharges the wedding that uses voice heavily or overcharges the wedding that doesn't use it at all.

Who Standard is right for: the typical 200–600 guest Indian wedding with two or more ceremonies, planned more than a week out. NRI weddings with multi-country guest lists. Destination weddings where travel coordination is real work. Family-side weddings where the parents want every WhatsApp message tracked.

Who Standard is wrong for: the genuine last-minute single-blast case (Basic is cheaper and does the job) and the agency running 10+ weddings a year (where Enterprise volume pricing kicks in).

Enterprise: the agency tier

Enterprise is for wedding planning companies and event-management agencies that run ten or more weddings a year. The pricing math is different on the agency side - instead of a couple paying ₹8,499 once for their wedding, an agency wants per-wedding economics for a portfolio. So Enterprise is a custom quote, with three things baked in.

  • Volume discount. The per-wedding rate goes down at 10+, with another step at 25+ and bespoke pricing above 50. We work it out on a call rather than publishing a per-wedding price grid because the right number depends on the size mix of the portfolio (a planner doing twenty 800-guest weddings is different from one doing twenty 100-guest court weddings).
  • Priority feature access. Agencies get early-access to features still being built - voice AI in regional languages, vendor marketplace integrations, the new guest-photo collection flow - typically 2–4 weeks before they hit Standard.
  • Custom integrations and voice support. A planner using Tally for accounting, HubSpot for CRM, or a venue-side property-management system can ask for integrations. Voice AI gets dedicated support - agencies hit edge cases (Tamil grandmothers calling at 11 PM, Marathi-only relatives, mid-call language switches) that one-off weddings rarely produce.

Who Enterprise is right for: wedding planning agencies, hospitality groups managing in-house weddings, destination-wedding specialists running portfolios. Reach us at WhatsApp or call +91 92176 10045.

Who Enterprise is wrong for: a single couple or family hosting their own wedding. Standard does everything they need; Enterprise has overhead they won't use.

How does Weddingkart compare to other Indian wedding tools?

Pricing comparisons are slippery because most wedding platforms aren't direct substitutes - they're different shapes of product, with overlapping features. Here is how we slot against the alternatives most planners weigh:

ToolShape of productPricingWhatsAppRSVP UX
Weddingkart StandardWhatsApp-native, guest lifecycle in one app₹8,499 + GST per wedding (one-time)Native, with delivery trackingOne-tap WhatsApp buttons
WedMeGoodVendor marketplace + light guest toolsFree for couples; vendor-side fees varyLimitedWeb form on RSVP page
MeraEvents / similar form toolsEvent RSVP forms and micrositesFree tier + paid featuresEmail-first, WhatsApp via separate toolWeb form
DIY: WhatsApp BSP + Excel + Google FormsHand-stitched stack you wire up yourselfBSP roughly ₹2,000–₹5,000/month + your timeNative, but you build the workflowGoogle Forms (no WhatsApp buttons)
Generic event SaaS (international)Event ticketing platforms - Eventbrite, Hopin-stylePer-attendee or % of ticket revenue (USD-billed)Not designed for WhatsApp guest commsWeb form

Competitor pricing is approximate as of April 2026. Verify current numbers on each tool's site before deciding - the BSP market in particular re-prices often.

WedMeGood

WedMeGood is the dominant Indian wedding marketplace, and its centre of gravity is vendor discovery - photographers, makeup artists, venues, decorators. The planning tools (guest list, RSVP page, checklist) are present but lighter; vendor monetisation is the business model, not guest management. Couples often use WedMeGood for vendor discovery and Weddingkart for the WhatsApp and RSVP layer; the two aren't in direct conflict for most use cases.

MeraEvents and the form-tool family

MeraEvents, RSVPify, and similar tools are RSVP-form platforms - you build a microsite, collect responses through web forms, and get a dashboard. They typically have free tiers and paid features. The structural gap with Weddingkart: web forms get ~25–35% response rates from Indian wedding guests; one-tap WhatsApp buttons regularly get 70% or higher because the guest never leaves WhatsApp. If your wedding is small and your guest list skews under-30, the form tools work. For most Indian weddings, the form response rate is the bottleneck.

DIY: WhatsApp BSP + Excel + Google Forms

This is the comparison that comes up most among technical couples and small agencies. Buy a WhatsApp Business API account from a BSP - Interakt, AiSensy, Wati, Gallabox - for roughly ₹2,000–₹5,000 per month (approximate; BSP pricing changes often). Wire it up to a Google Form for RSVPs and Excel for the master list. You now have something that vaguely looks like Weddingkart Standard, for ₹2,000–₹5,000/month plus your evenings.

Two honest tradeoffs. First, the BSP is monthly - Weddingkart is one-time per wedding, so a 3-month engagement on a BSP runs ₹6,000–₹15,000 vs Weddingkart Standard's ₹8,499 once. Second, and bigger: BSPs ship the message-sending infrastructure, not the wedding workflow. RSVP buttons that route into a guest dashboard, travel ticket collection that organises by arrival date, ID card collection with the right WhatsApp template, message delivery tracking per guest - those don't come out of the box. You build them. We've had several customers who started DIY, ran one wedding, counted the hours they spent stitching the workflow, and switched. The DIY math works if you're technical, time-rich, and running one or two weddings a year max. If you're an agency running ten, the math flips fast.

Generic event SaaS (Eventbrite, Hopin-style)

Eventbrite-shaped tools price per attendee or take a percentage of ticket revenue, both of which break for free events with 600 guests. They also default to email and web-form RSVPs and aren't built for WhatsApp-first markets. We mention them because they show up in international comparisons; in Indian weddings, they're usually the wrong shape.

What does this actually cost on a real wedding?

Pricing pages are abstract until you put numbers against a wedding. Three worked examples:

The 250-guest court wedding, 4 days out

Bride, groom, registrar appointment locked. Guest list is one Excel sheet, mostly family. Need to send out the venue address tonight and dress-code reminders the day before.

  • Plan: Basic - ₹4,999 + GST = ₹5,899
  • Messages: ~750 across 250 guests × 3 messages - comfortable inside the 1,000 limit.
  • Total spend: ~₹5,900. As a share of the ₹8 lakh court-wedding budget: 0.07%.

The 350-guest two-ceremony wedding in Jaipur

Sangeet on Friday, wedding on Sunday. Half the guests are flying in. Family wants travel pickup organised, RSVPs collected for both events, and a photo album collected from guests after.

  • Plan: Standard - ₹8,499 + GST = ₹10,029
  • Messages: ~3,200 (350 guests × ~9 messages - invite, RSVP follow-up, sangeet venue, wedding venue, dress code per ceremony, day-of reminders, thanks). Inside the 4,500 limit.
  • Voice AI: 50 outbound RSVP calls to non-responsive elders at, say, ₹3.50/call ≈ ₹175. Topped up separately.
  • Total spend: ~₹10,200. As a share of a typical ₹18 lakh budget: 0.06%.

The wedding planning agency running 25 weddings a year

Mix of intimate, mid-size, and one or two destination weddings. Wants white-label consistency, integration with their CRM, and one billing cycle.

  • Plan: Enterprise - custom. Indicative range: per-wedding rate roughly 25–40% below Standard at this volume, with the exact figure depending on size mix and integration scope. Reach us for a real quote.
  • Voice AI: bundled minutes negotiated as part of the contract.
  • Custom integrations: typically Tally, a CRM (HubSpot or Zoho), and an event calendar.

Which plan should you pick?

A short decision framework, in the order the questions actually come up.

  1. Do you need to collect any information back from guests? RSVP buttons, travel tickets, ID cards, guest photos - any of these. If yes (which is roughly every multi-day Indian wedding), Standard. If no - you only need to push messages out and you're fine receiving RSVPs informally on family WhatsApp groups - Basic still works.
  2. Are you running 10+ weddings a year? If yes, Enterprise. The volume discount pays for itself by wedding three or four. Skip the per-wedding pricing entirely.
  3. Are older relatives a meaningful chunk of your guest list? If yes, Standard (for voice AI access) is the right choice even if you could technically live within Basic's message count. The guest who would rather call than type is the most underserved demographic in wedding tech, and voice AI is what closes that gap.
  4. Are you destination wedding, NRI, or multi-country? Standard, non-negotiably. The travel ticket collection, multi-country phone format handling, and timezone-aware messaging matter enough to make the ₹3,500 delta a rounding error.

If after all that you're still on the fence between Basic and Standard, default to Standard. The cost delta is smaller than what most couples spend on the welcome drink at the sangeet, and you don't want to discover mid-wedding that the feature you needed sat on the other side of an upgrade prompt.

What Weddingkart does not charge for

For symmetry, here's what isn't in the bill.

  • No per-guest fee. 100 guests or 2,000 guests - the plan price stays the same. Only the message count varies, and you can top up packs without a plan change.
  • No subscription. One payment, one wedding. No auto-renew, no cancel-before-the-month-ends panic.
  • No team-member seat fees. Bring the bride, the groom, the planner, the parents, and the family WhatsApp expert. Multiple team members come with every plan including Basic.
  • No charge for the free tools. The budget calculator, checklist generator, Excel cleaner, hashtag generator and 13 other planning tools are free, no login, no email.
  • No app-store fee on top. Buying through iOS or Android passes through Apple/Google's billing, and we eat the platform commission rather than add it to your bill.

What about refunds?

100% refund up to 2 days before the wedding starts, no questions asked. After the wedding begins, refunds are case-by-case - usually because something genuinely broke on our end, in which case we want to make it right.

The reason we draw the line at 2 days is operational: by 48 hours out, we've usually already provisioned WhatsApp templates with Meta, set up the BSP routing, sent the test messages, and worked with the planner on the message schedule. That's real time and infrastructure. Before that point, the cancellation cost to us is small, so you get the full refund.

There's also the 30-credit free trial - every feature unlocked, no card needed - which exists so couples can try the workflow before paying anything. Most weddings convert from trial to paid plan in under a week.

Why isn't Weddingkart cheaper?

Honest answer in two parts.

The expensive line items. Each WhatsApp Business API conversation costs us a per-message fee to Meta - these aren't free SMS, they're a paid channel with conversation pricing tiers that vary by country and message type. Voice AI runs on real telephony infrastructure plus inference costs for the language models handling the conversation. Hosting guest data securely (we store in India, on encrypted infrastructure, audited annually) has a fixed cost per wedding regardless of guest count. Indian wedding tooling is not as cheap to run as people assume - and the BSPs charging ₹2,000–₹5,000/month aren't handling RSVP buttons, voice AI, or travel collection out of those numbers.

The deliberate-not-cheaper choice. A wedding software priced at ₹999 implicitly trains the buyer to treat it as a commodity and to expect the support to be slow, the failures to be silent, and the feature roadmap to be glacial. We'd rather price as the operational tool we are - sub-1% of the wedding budget - and invest the margin into things like voice AI in regional languages, a proper support team that responds within an hour during wedding week, and a refund policy that doesn't require an invoice dispute. The customers who object to the price almost always object before their wedding; the customers who've actually run a wedding on Weddingkart almost never do.

The bottom line

Weddingkart 2026 pricing is three plans, per wedding, plus 18% GST. Basic ₹4,999 for last-minute weddings. Standard ₹8,499 for the typical Indian wedding. Enterprise custom for agencies. No subscription, no per-guest fee, full refund up to 2 days out, 30 free credits to try first.

The right way to read this page is not which tier saves the most money - it's which tier matches what your wedding actually needs. A Standard plan on a small intimate wedding leaves features unused. A Basic plan on a destination wedding leaves the planner stitching travel logistics in Excel at midnight. Match the tier to the wedding and the price stops being the question.

Is Weddingkart the right tool for your wedding?

We'd rather you not pay than pay for the wrong fit. Read this before picking a plan.

Right fit if…

  • You're hosting a single wedding (couple or planner running one event).
  • Guest count between 100 and 2,000 across one or more events.
  • You want invites, RSVPs, ID/travel collection, and guest photos in one place.
  • Your guests are on WhatsApp (India / NRI / Gulf is the sweet spot).
  • You want to pay once per wedding - no monthly subscription.

Not a fit if…

  • You're an agency managing 10+ weddings - talk to us about Enterprise instead.
  • You only need to send 1–2 messages - start with the free 30 credits first.
  • You're a vendor or venue, not a host (we're guest-management for hosts).
  • You need vendor calendars, payment ledgers, or contracts - out of scope.
  • You expect a monthly SaaS subscription - Weddingkart is one-time per wedding.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Weddingkart cost in 2026?

Weddingkart has three tiers, all priced per wedding (not per month, not per guest). Basic is ₹4,999, Standard is ₹8,499, and Enterprise is a custom quote for agencies running 10+ weddings a year. All three add 18% GST. There is no recurring subscription - you pay once for the wedding and use every feature in your tier through the event.

Is GST included in the listed prices?

No. GST is 18% on top of the listed plan price, in line with Indian SaaS norms. Basic at ₹4,999 becomes ₹5,899 after GST (₹5,898.82 exact). Standard at ₹8,499 becomes ₹10,029 after GST (₹10,028.82 exact). We list pre-GST so the comparison to other Indian platforms is apples-to-apples - most quote pre-GST too.

Why is there no per-guest charge?

Per-guest pricing punishes the weddings that need a wedding tool the most - the 600-guest, four-ceremony ones. We price per wedding so the family hosting 1,200 guests pays the same as the family hosting 150. The variable that does scale is messages, and you can top up message packs from inside the app without changing your plan.

When is Basic the right plan, and when is it the wrong plan?

Basic is right when the wedding is 2–3 weeks away and all you need to do is send messages to guests - invites, venue directions, reminders - without collecting any information back. No RSVP buttons, no travel tickets, no ID cards, no photo collection. Basic is wrong the moment you want any of those structured collection flows; for that, Standard is the answer. Trying to retrofit RSVPs or travel collection onto Basic by topping up messages does not work - those features live in Standard.

Why does Standard cost ₹3,500 more than Basic?

Standard adds three things Basic does not have. First, 3,500 more WhatsApp messages (1,000 vs 4,500) - enough for a 300-guest wedding with multiple ceremonies and reminders. Second, the full guest lifecycle: WhatsApp RSVPs, ID card collection, travel ticket collection, guest photo collection, guest attributes, and Google Sheet sync. Third, access to the Voice AI agent and voice broadcast workflows (calls themselves are usage-based on top of the plan). Standard is the plan most weddings should pick.

How does Weddingkart compare to WedMeGood, MeraEvents, or a DIY WhatsApp setup?

WedMeGood is mostly a vendor marketplace - its planning tools are lighter and the value is in finding photographers, venues, and decorators. MeraEvents and similar platforms are RSVP-form-and-website tools, often free at the entry tier but without WhatsApp guest management. A DIY stack - Excel + Google Forms + a WhatsApp BSP from Interakt or AiSensy - runs ₹2,000–₹5,000/month for the BSP plus your time, and you have to wire it up yourself. Weddingkart is the integrated alternative for couples and event managers who want WhatsApp invites, RSVP buttons, travel and ID collection, and message tracking in one place.

Are voice AI agents and voice call broadcasts included in the plan?

Access is included on Standard and Enterprise - the workflows, the dashboards, and the agent setup. The calls themselves are usage-based: you top up voice credits and pay per connected minute or completed call. Failed calls auto-refund. Plan price unlocks the feature; calling is billed separately so a wedding that uses 50 voice calls is not subsidising a wedding that uses 5,000.

What if I run out of messages mid-wedding?

Top up additional message packs from inside the app. No need to upgrade the plan, no support ticket. Plans are sized for typical Indian wedding volumes, but a 1,000-guest wedding with five ceremonies will burn through the Standard 4,500 quickly - top-ups exist for exactly that case.

Is there a refund policy?

100% refund up to 2 days before the wedding starts, no questions asked. After the wedding begins, refunds are case-by-case. There is no contract lock-in - every plan is one-time, per wedding.

Can I try Weddingkart before paying?

Yes. Every account starts with 30 free credits - every feature unlocked, no card needed. You can add guests, send messages, set up RSVPs, run the full workflow. Pick a paid plan when you run out of credits or when the wedding gets close enough to need volume.
