How to use an announcement pack
Browse available packs
In the Announcements section of the app, tap Announcement Packs or Browse Packs. Each pack shows the number of announcements it includes and what it’s designed for.
Preview the pack
Tap a pack to see all the announcements it contains. For each item you’ll see:
- The announcement name and purpose
- Which template it uses
- Suggested timing relative to your wedding date (e.g., “60 days before”, “day of”, “7 days after”)
- A preview of the message content with example variables
Add the pack to your wedding
Tap Add to Wedding and select your wedding. You can add all items in the pack at once, or select only the ones you need. You can always add more items from the same pack later. When you add the pack, Weddingkart creates each announcement as a draft with:
- The correct template pre-selected
- Variables pre-filled with example values (not your actual wedding details yet)
- Suggested send timing calculated from your wedding date
Customize each announcement
Go through the drafts and:
- Replace example variable values with your actual wedding details (couple’s names, venue, times, etc.)
- Attach your wedding invitation card or other media where relevant
- Adjust the suggested send timing if needed
Schedule or send
Once each announcement is customized, schedule it for the suggested time or set your own. See Scheduling for how to queue announcements in advance.
Understanding suggested timing
Each pack item includes a suggested send offset — the number of days before or after the wedding date when that message should ideally go out. Weddingkart calculates an actual suggested date based on your wedding date. For example, if your wedding is on December 15th and the save the date has a suggested offset of –60 days, the suggested send date is October 16th. Use the suggested timing as a starting point. Adjust it to match your actual planning timeline and the couple’s preferences.Pack comparison
